The cassette is the housing that conceals the roller tube at the top of the window. It’s not a functional component — the shade works the same regardless of cassette style — but it changes the visual profile of the product significantly. Choosing the right cassette is about matching the architecture and interior design of the space.

The key specification is openness factor — the percentage of the fabric that is open space versus thread.
